MAS Dry cleaning plants
MAS dry cleaning plants are a modern and extremely economical alternative, or an optimal supplement, to conventional wet cleaning plants. Based on the tried-and-trusted DRD (Double Rotor Disc) technology, the plant combines the cleaning centrifuge with thermo-mechanical drying. This special design allows for economic deployment in a wide range of applications:

In this application, the MAS dry cleaning plant's major advantage, the fact that it combines a dryer and a cleaner in a single machine, really comes to its own. Washed flakes are fed to the MAS dry cleaner downstream of the mechanical centrifuge, or at the end of the washing plant. The material is dried in an economical manner, while downstream cleaning takes place at the same time. This removes soiling which the wet cleaning plant left untouched.

In the case of heavily soiled foils in particular, pre-cleaning by means of a MAS dry cleaner often makes sense to prevent excessive soiling of the process water in a wet cleaning plant. This approach helps to considerably reduce the water consumption in a wet cleaning plant, as well as substantially reducing maintenance overheads, thus lowering operating costs accordingly.
